If you saw the two previous articles, we’ve set up ProPresenter and OBS for live streaming on either one or two computers. Now let’s take a quick look at using Facebook for your streaming service.

On your church’s FB page you’ll see—somewhere in the maze of stuff—a LIVE button. You’ll see two options: Go Live or Creative a Live Video Event. We use the one on the left, Go Live.
Select Streaming software and copy the streaming key from here.
Click Advanced and set this to Persistent, so you don’t have to enter a key every time you stream.

Open OBS > Settings > Streaming. Select Facebook Live and copy the streaming key here.

Go back to OBS and click Start Streaming. You should shortly see the signal in the video window on FB. There’s a test option in FB that’s handy for getting things to work without actually broadcasting anything to the planet.
